A Principal Engineer at Samsung Electronics (R&D Institute India), focused on mobile commercialization activities and conducting research in next-generation mobile systems. Extensively worked on proprietary Samsung Handset Platform (SHP) solution on its packet switched (PS) core framework and services. Commercialized IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) solution and services on Samsung handsets across different operators. Later on, migrated to Android (Radio Interface layer) and eventually, lead the Samsung Android System Team for Japan market with significant contributions toward the commercialization of Samsung Galaxy and Note series handsets/tablets for NTT DoCoMo and KDDI operators.
Currently pursuing Ph.D. at Sungkyunkwan University, South Korea with particular interests in Software-Defined Networking (SDN), 5G Network slicing, NFV and Service Chaining (SFC). Using CORD (CiaB) as the base to realize the prototype/PoC related to slicing.
